Mobile, Alabama Wedding ~ St. Mary’s Catholic Church ~ Connie + Ranse

Mobile, Alabama Wedding

Simple, classy, elegant-all words to describe Connie and Ranse’s Mobile, Alabama wedding. Every detail was perfectly organized thanks to Blair Weddings + Events. I have worked with her and her team many times and they never disappoint.

The Battlehouse in Downtown Mobile, Alabama is a Mobile, Alabama wedding photographer’s dream come true. Getting ready in the presidential suite is something every bride could aspire to do. 😍 I love that the guys were right next door in the governments suite and that is was so spacious for a large bridal party.

Connie did such a good job at including her family in such a special way. She wore her mom’s bracelet and ring for the ceremony, and I thought that was such a sentimental touch. She also had her mom and sister help her get ready which makes for amazing pictures and precious memories. My favorite part was, of course, seeing the father of the bride’s face during their first look.

I am absolutely living for these classy wedding colors that were chosen for the ceremony. The all-white bridesmaids dresses are exactly what I would choose if I could re-do my wedding day. The simplistic elegance of the bridesmaid dresses and the bride’s gown was absolutely stunning.

Speaking of stunning-Connie looked gorgeous. I am obsessed with her dress! Everything about the day was perfectly thought out and 100% classy. The florist, Julia Greer, did an amazing job on these white bouquets and everything flowed perfectly.

Connie and Ranse were married at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mobile, Alabama. This is always such a great choice for a church wedding. As a Mobile, Alabama wedding photographer, something I always try to do is catch the look on the groom’s face when he sees his fiancé walk down the aisle to take his name and become his wife. The pure love shown on Ranse’s face when he saw Connie was priceless. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house when they saw the tears in his eyes.

The reception was extra special because it took place on the bride’s family’s farm that backs up to her grandparent’s property. Port City Rentals did an excellent job at setting up this beautiful tent right on the lake for the evening. And just look at that cake! Again I’m in love with this classic, timeless style that has proven to be the theme throughout this wedding.

I loved that Connie and Ranse weren’t in a hurry and spent plenty of time during golden hour for the most epic shots. These are always some of the most important pictures that I like to give every bride and groom. It is such a perfect time to reminisce and look back on. I love to see the joy in the eyes of each couple. The day is almost over-everything has fallen into place, and it’s simply a time to celebrate each other.

Is there a better place to be than with each other? When you come to the end of a work day, the end of a life stage, job or even the end of life altogether, I hope the place you choose as your favorite, is in the arms of the one you love the most. The one you chose to commit to through all of the dirty socks on the floor, arguments about who is picking the kids up from school, and who is getting up to turn off the light. Life won’t be perfect, but it will be beautiful. You will be together, and the rest will be forgotten. ❤️
