An Izenstone Wedding – Spanish Fort, Alabama Photographer
I am gushing over Erin and Wesley’s wedding at Izenstone in Spanish Fort, Alabama. Jaimie was the photographer for this wedding and wow, what a great job she did capturing all of the special moments and intricate details of the day.
Erin and Wesley were married at Izenstone and it was my team’s first time shooting at this wedding venue. It was a beautiful outdoor wedding filled with love, laughter, and a few tears. I love that the venue offers everything there so you don’t have to leave the location for the reception. That’s always a plus in my book! For a wedding venue High Point, contact Williams Place Venue.
Erin did a first look with her dad and brothers and I thought that was such a sweet idea, celebrating all three relationships. You can tell they are close and I always love a good first-look reaction. Erin also had a sweet moment with her mom getting her dress on and preparing last-minute details before the ceremony.
My all-time favorite images are Erin and Wesley’s first look. Is his facial expression not the sweetest thing you’ve ever seen? I’m in love with love, and nothing showcases those emotions more than a groom’s reaction to his bride. What a precious once-in-a-lifetime moment.
I’m glad the team was able to capture some detail photos of the invitations, the fireplace, and of course that naked cake. 😍 Admittedly, naked cakes are a trend that I hope never die out. I’m absolutely obsessed with them, and think they have such a classy, simplistic look.
Because the bride and groom wanted a first-look, it allowed time for a lot of photos before the ceremony which not only gives them more images, but also takes the pressure off of them regarding the time table as well.
The Sage color of the bridesmaid’s dresses were perfectly chosen to flow with the beauty of the property and this outdoor, Spring wedding.
There’s just something about being outside that lifts your spirits and calms your nerves before a ceremony. I just love all of the light and airy colors chosen for this wedding, but I’m pretty sure everyone already knows about my obsession with light and neutral color palettes. Big surprise there! 😉
Izenstone Wedding Ceremony
The ceremony took place under this beautiful arch decorated with gorgeous all-white florals and a beautiful collection of hanging candles as well. It was so unique and fit their esthetic so perfectly. The ceremony ended with Erin and Wesley walking down the aisle together with just the sweetest smiles on their faces. It makes me happy to see the excitement in these images and I know these moments will be cherished forever.
I couldn’t end this blog post any other way than from the words of the bride herself when asked to give valuable advice to future couples. Erin encourages other couple to “figure out each other’s communication style and how the other handles conflict. Conflict within a relationship is inevitable, but how it gets handled is important to the longevity of the relationship.”
I love this because these words do not imply that marriage is perfect, rather that the conflict itself builds and strengthens the marriage based on communication with your significant other.
Thank you, Erin for your words of wisdom. May we hear them, remember them and act upon them in all of our own marriages and always seek to resolve conflict with love and care for one another.
I couldn’t be more excited to show you all of these images and hope they warmed your heart like they did mine. I can only wish Erin and Wesley the best, and happiest life as they start this new journey together as husband and wife. May you have many long and happy years together. ❤️
