Mary Cooke and Stuart were married in Christ Church Cathedral in downtown Mobile, Alabama. Brianna was the lead photographer and she killed it as always. Following the ceremony, the reception took place at Fort Conde Inn where the bridal party also got ready for the day and took a lot of pre-ceremony pictures.
Mary Cooke did a first look with her dad and then with the groom. This gave them plenty of time for the photos they wanted, plus additional time for privacy before the ceremony.
The bridesmaid dresses were this beautiful blue, and it is one of my all-time favorites! It’s a classic color that will never go out of style but has just the right amount of color-pop that everyone loves.
Amy Kerper was the wedding planner and planned every detail perfectly for the bride and groom. I always recommend a wedding planner because they might see and know things that are new to you. Hiring a professional is always recommended to keep the bride and groom happy and relaxed during their big day.
Mary Cooke’s bouquet was gorgeous. 😍 it was just the right amount of color but still follows through with the all-neutral color palette. You can never go wrong with all-white!
My favorite aspects of this wedding were the bride and groom in front of the church steps and of course the trolley that took the wedding party to the reception. A church wedding wouldn’t be complete without a good door picture, and the trolley just makes it so classically Southern that you just can’t help but love it!
I don’t think it is a secret that wedding days can be hectic. I mean, sit down and think about all the things you are supposed to remember and do! But remembering to have fun and enjoy your day is key. It might be nearly impossible to relax before the ceremony, but if you make time to intentionally plan creative things for you and your spouse to do on your wedding day, it will create a fun memory plus a easy-going time with family and friends.
Weddings don’t come around everyday so when they do, make sure to sit back and enjoy your once-in-lifetime day and if that means hiring a wedding planner, then so be it! If it means to sit back and snack before the ceremony, then yes, totally do it! And of course, if it means to rent a trolley for the bridal party to ride to the reception, then you jump on that trolley, take in the sights, and remember this day as the day that your new life together started with joy, happiness, and fun.
