Mobile Alabama Wedding Photographer Wedding at St. Pauls

It was an incredible Saturday for Ann Marie and Clay’s Mobile, Alabama wedding. The weather was perfect and every detail was absolutely stunning. I’m so excited to finally share all of these images with y’all!

My favorite thing about this wedding has to be all of the florals. I’m seriously obsessed with Wildflower’s work. They always do a phenomenal job, but they definitely outdid themselves on this one. There were flowers all over the trees and the intricate thought and detail that was put into these pieces was just outstanding.

I usually always order through an online florist and recommend a request for fresh flowers from the shop for the flat-lay pictures. I was able to get some for these pictures and it elevates the details of the wedding day so much. I’m so glad we were able to get them because I mean, just look at these flat lays. 😍

With all of the details of this wedding, a good wedding planner was a must-have. Events Detailed were absolutely amazing. Brooke and Jeanne really made sure the entire day went smoothly and I highly recommend them for any event.

The wedding ceremony was at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and the reception took place at Ann Marie’s grandmother’s house. Her inspiration for her special day was her own parents wedding which was held at St. Paul’s as well as a followed reception at her grandmother’s house. I thought that the was the sweetest tribute to her parents and the love that they share.

Ann Marie and Clay’s entire day was full of special details and one of the craziest has to be the fact that three of my past brides were in this wedding. I loved being able to re-connect with them again and it always makes me happy to see connections throughout my clients.

Ann Marie and Clay did a first look at her grandmother’s house and it was the sweetest thing not only because of the sentimentality of the location but because of the love that the bride and groom share. 🥰

All of of the bridal party photos were taken at the church, but I’m glad we were able to steal away a few moments at the reception area with just the bride and groom. Again, every detail was absolutely stunning. Even the furniture that was placed outside for the guests was so dreamy and the perfect added element to the day.

There were more flowers inside the doors at St. Paul’s and it wouldn’t have been complete without this beautiful arbor with attached florals as well. I’m a sucker for a good florist and these were literally the most beautiful flowers I’ve ever seen.

One of Ann Marie’s wishes was to get a photo of her and Clay exiting the church through these beautiful doors and I’m so glad we were able to get this shot. It was such a beautiful day and the two of them leaving their wedding ceremony gives me all the happy vibes.

They participated in a second line on the way to their reception which is an old New Orleans tradition. I love the combination of wedding party and instrumentalists because it’s such a happy and fun way to kick off a reception while also paying homage to the culture in the South.

Ann Marie and Clay left their reception in an antique car and I’m in love 😍 It is such a classic way to say goodbye to family and friends and kick off your honeymoon.

If I could say one more thing about this wedding, It would have to be the outpouring of love and support that I witnessed from all of the bride and groom’s family and friends. Anyone can start a life together, but there’s just something about being able to celebrate this new journey with an abundance of family and friends behind you and supporting you. Ann Marie and Clay are very loved and it shows throughout all of the images.

Through every smile, every laugh, every tear, these images showcase pure love and most importantly family values. What a thoughtful touch for Ann Marie to be able to commemorate her own parent’s wedding while celebrating her own. I wish a lifetime of happiness to the bride and groom as they start this beautiful thing we call marriage together.
