Spanish Fort Wedding – Alabama Wedding Photography – Collective Manor – Corinne + John

Corinne and John were married at Spanish Fort Church of Christ in Spanish Fort, Alabama. Brianna was the lead photographer and of course, did a fabulous job. This is a new location for my team but the church did not disappoint. There were plenty of big windows and nice areas for indoor pictures. The weather in Alabama has been pretty hot lately so a big shoutout to all of my summer brides.

I absolutely love the lace detail on Corrine’s dress. It was so feminine and looked amazing on Corinne. I’m a sucker for a long, flowing dress and the lace always gives the perfect added touch to the overall look of the dress.

I love that the bride did multiple first looks pre-ceremony. She had a dress reveal with the bridesmaids, and also did a first look with her dad and then her grandparents. Is that not the cutest thing ever? Grandparents are such a gift so when I saw these images, it hit me right in the feels.

Of course, I’m always a fan of a first look with the bride and groom. A lot of people choose the more traditional route of seeing each other for the first time at the altar, so either way is totally acceptable. There’s just something about those sweet moments right before the ceremony that will always be private just between the bride and groom. It also gives a variety of photos and more images as well.

Corrine and John were able to get some outdoor photos as well, and just look at this natural light. Since that is an area that I specialize in, I tend to spend a little extra time swooning over these. If you can’t tell by now, I’m slightly obsessed with trees, natural light, and all the bright and airy photos. These photos of Corinne and John outside by the church are my favorite and I just know they will look at these with a smile on their faces for the rest of forever.

The look on John’s face when he saw his bride was no less sweet after the first look. Call me cliche, but I usually look straight to the groom to capture that expression full of love. Every girl in the world dreams of that moment, and it’s an image I love to give all of my brides. During the ceremony, Corinne and John participated in a traditional unity candle and finished with a reception at the Collective Manor in Spanish Fort, Alabama.

The details on the cake were executed perfectly and the get-away vehicle was nothing less than a pickup truck. Here in Alabama, that’s a thing and we love it. The bride and groom left while everyone threw Serpentine which is also a cultural and fun way to exit.

My wish, is that everyone in the world will be given a moment like Corinne and John. A moment knowing that you were made for each other, that you chose each other, and that you truly belong together. Love is out there waiting for everyone. You just have to find it, embrace it, and treasure it forever.
