Lacey and Wallace’s wedding at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fairhope, Alabama is one for the books! I know I probably say this a lot because all of my couples are just the best. But, seriously, Lacey and Wallace are easily some of the sweetest and laid-back people I have ever met. Lacey is so full of fun and joy and you just can’t help but smile and laugh when you are around her!

The first part of the day started out at The Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama where the bridal party got ready. I was able to capture all the details of her bouquet and ring and let me just tell you, they were STUNNING! I love the small pop of color, but mostly white bouquet. It fit her perfectly and Wildflowers in Fairhope did an amazing job arranging it so beautifully. All of the wedding party pictures were taken at The Grand Hotel as well, and from there, we headed over to the ceremony site at Sacred Heart Chapel in Fairhope, Alabama for the first look.

Lacey and Wallace shared the sweetest first look where they exchanged letters to one another. It was an emotional moment thinking of all that it took for them to arrive in this moment. Lacey and Wallace’s expectation for the day was that it would still be beautiful in fifty years and to be able to give their children and grandchildren something to display in years to come; something to showcase their love for one another. I think we accomplished that and more.

Sacred Heart Chapel was more beautiful than ever, and I’m sure it had something to do with this floral arrangement over the door of the chapel. Wildflowers totally outdid themselves on this one! This chapel is right on the bay in Fairhope, Alabama so its the perfect place to say “I do”. Fairhope is a quaint town on the other side of Mobile, Alabama and it gives you all the Hallmark movie vibes. Just strolling the streets gives you the feeling that you are at home, and I’m sure getting married at Sacred Heart Chapel would be a dream of any local.

Lacey’s dress and veil were absolutely everything! Literally the most perfect combination and looked amazing on Lacey. The bridesmaid dresses were a very pretty muted blue color which was the perfect contrast with the color of the flowers. Blair did a a fantastic job planning everything for the day. The greenery on the chandeliers at the reception were to die for and the cake table had a really pretty boxwood backdrop.

The ceremony went off without a hitch, and my favorite shot has to be of Lacey right before she enters the doors. Everything that encompasses the whole day can be summed up to this one moment right before she walked the aisle and joined hand in hand with Wallace.

After the ceremony, Lacey and Wallace included more time in their schedule for more pictures and I’m so glad they did. The sun rays were shining through the trees as if right on cue. Oh how I love when even the sun is cooperating and aligning with my to-do list, because LOOK at these shots. They turned out so beautiful!

Lacey and Wallace enjoyed a nice reception at The Venue in downtown Fairhope and left with a sparkler exit and a lovely blue get-away car. It’s not every day that I get to be around a couple that is so full of life and laughter. Getting to know and be around Lacey and Wallace was truly a joy and I know that whatever endeavors they seek next, they will meet it head-on with passion, love, and a laugh.
