Noble Events coordinated all of the wedding planning and Sarah actually works for them. They also work with Queenstown Heli Wedding, and this has been the best experience so far. It was so nice dealing with a wedding planner because she was so organized and literally had her schedule memorized. She totally spoke my language with her organizational skills and how much she had planned and prepared for her wedding day. Every moment of the day was executed at the exact moment that Sarah had planned so I think it is safe to say she knows what she is doing!
The wedding took place at Belforest Pointe in Daphne, Alabama. One of my favorite things about Belforest Point is they have plenty of variety for indoor and outdoor photos. Even though the weather forecast was kinder than we original thought, we did come across a little rain while taking pictures. Thankfully, there was a covered courtyard available to avoid getting wet but still made it possible to take some pictures outside. That is a huge asset here in South Alabama!
Sarah was able to get ready with her mom which is always a sweet moment that I like to capture before the ceremony. She also did a bridesmaid reveal and a first look with her dad. These are always tear-jerking moments, but necessary of course, and always a special time to remember. Another thing I loved about this wedding is that one of my past brides was the matron of honor, and I always love getting to re-connect with clients that have become friends over the years. The bridesmaids wore a pretty icy blue and I think it was the perfect choice for their dresses.
My favorite details of the day were the bouquet and the reception. Sarah said she really wanted to put a lot of time and effort into it- and that’s exactly what she did. She wanted to be able to remember how she felt preparing for her wedding day, and wanted it to be so special. She should be very proud, because she definitely pulled off a reception to remember! Sarah was so thoughtful and creative in adding every possible element to her wedding day, executing it the exact way she envisioned it.
The cake was a stunner! It was so unique and with its gold accessories and all white base looked so classy and almost regal. The flowers gave it a modern touch but overall, I would consider this cake timeless and one of my favorites to date. Underground Custom Cakes created this masterpiece and I can’t say enough about it!
The bride and groom left with a sparkler exit and friends and family seeing them off to their new life together. Love shows up in unexpected ways, takes us places we never thought we’d go, and gives us a gift we can never return. I get to witness this kind of love every weekend and it brings me joy to capture it for the world to see. I know Sarah and Tommy will have many more priceless moments in their lifetime, but it brings me joy that I was able to document such a special day in their lives ❤️
