Fairhope Inn Wedding ~ Fairhope, Alabama Photographer ~ Marie + Jonathan

Marie and Jonathan were married at the Fairhope Inn in downtown Fairhope, Alabama. It’s such a cute little bed and breakfast and perfect for those looking to have every segment of their wedding at the same place. That was one of the reasons Marie and Jonathan chose this quaint and cozy venue. It is absolutely perfect for small and intimate weddings. I love that they had a Fairhope Inn wedding because they actually ate dinner at the restaurant in the inn on the night of their engagement.

As previously mentioned in their engagement blog post, Marie is absolutely exquisite. Her dress and color choices perfectly displayed her timeless and classy personality. I love that the bridesmaids wore all black but different style dresses. Every detail added to the overall esthetics of the wedding and showcased the preferences and style of this couple perfectly. Marie’s facial expressions along with Jonathan’s are priceless. Part of what makes her so drop-dead gorgeous is the way Jonathan makes her smile.

Marie and Jonathan are so down-to-earth and easy going. It made for such a relaxed wedding day for my associate photographer and all those involved with the wedding party. It doesn’t hurt that they are one of the most photogenic couples I’ve ever photographed as a wedding photographer. I know Jaimie felt the same way as she took these pictures. Their infatuation with each other is one of the cutest things I’ve ever seen.

The wedding cake was so modern and sleek yet still had a classic look along with the bouquet. I love the overall simplicity of this wedding because it shows that you don’t always have to go big and bold to make a statement. Marie’s blue shoes totally stood out as her “something blue” which I thought was super creative. Her long veil was such a beautiful added element as well. I am a huge fan of a floating veil. 😍 The instrumentalists brought such a romantic energy to the ceremony. I love the mix of traditional and modern and think it gave such a unique and personable touch to this day.

Couples like Marie and Jonathan are such a great example of why I chose to be a wedding photographer. I’m so blessed to be able to not only meet people like these, but also to be able to give them a priceless gift.

Pictures are forever. They tell a story that you can be a part of even if you missed the ceremony. When a bride and groom look back at their wedding photos, they might remember that their hair wasn’t cooperating or that the rings were forgotten at home. Others see only the good stuff. They see the first look on the groom’s face. They see the tears from family members when celebrating the union of loved ones. They see unadulterated love between two people that met and pledged their lives to each other. They see pure joy on the faces of each person present and that is what we all want to remember.

Marie and Jonathan, may you always remember the most perfect day and cherish the gift of these precious moments frozen in time. Best wishes to you and yours. ❤️
