Every woman looking to have a Spring wedding in their future should take note of Maggie and Adam’s beautiful Fairhope, Alabama wedding. I literally cannot even deal with all of these jaw-dropping colors. It was the perfect mixture of bright, yet classy.

I love that Maggie kept her palette neutral including her bouquet. It made the bridesmaid’s colors pop even more. Details, details, details! The uniqueness of each dress + the florals made this one of the favorite weddings of the season. One of the best details of the day is that Maggie wore her hair down for the ceremony. It’s something that doesn’t happen all too often, but y’all- look how beautiful she looked! She was absolutely stunning and her wearing her hair down was the perfect choice.

I love Grand Hotel Weddings in the Spring because of the Azaleas in bloom. Being a local has its charms because we get to experience early Spring. Being a wedding photographer is just an added bonus because I get to see all of the Spring foliage along with the most perfect brides and grooms. I thought it was so timely that the Azaleas matched Maggie and Adam’s wedding and it was a gorgeous touch to the day.

Brianna did a fantastic job capturing all of the special moments during the ceremony at Christ the King Catholic Church. As I’ve said before, I’m a sucker for that picture of the groom when he sees his bride for the first time, so I’m so glad Brianna was able to catch that photo.

Maggie and Adam were able to steal away a few moments at their reception at the Grand Hotel during golden hour on the bay, and it totally paid off. Fairhope, Alabama sunsets are just about the best in the world, but of course, I’m a little partial. 😉

This cake was to die for. I love all of the classic white with the bright pops of color! Such a perfect, happy color palette that makes for timeless pictures that will never go out of style.

Every wedding photographer has their own esthetic flare that they hope to claim as their own; a trademark that can be memorized as their personality behind the lens and ultimately on each and every photo. I especially love to capture pictures that will still be beautiful in years to come. I want to honor the bride and groom’s choices and special personality quirks, while also giving my signature, classic shots, and edits that will give each couple a reason to keep those prints on the wall instead of taking them down because they go out of style.

Every wedding is beautiful. Whether the bride and groom decide to have their wedding indoors, outdoors, in the Winter, or Spring… like Maggie and Adam, there is always something lovely to celebrate.

But, more than the colors, the cake, or even the landscape, is the undeniable love you see between the bride and her groom. That is what steals away our hearts and captivates us to our core. That love that I get to witness each and every day is why I love what I do.
