Marie and Jonathan are getting married this Saturday! Eeeek! They were an absolute dream to work with. I’m am swooning just looking at their Grand Hotel engagement session, so I cannot imagine what their wedding pictures will look like!
I’m so glad we were able to do this session before their big day. I love when couples take the time to document their engagement because it’s such a sweet, but short time.
We did their engagement photoshoot at The Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama. This is always one of my favorite spots to take pictures. Can you see why? Seriously the view of the bay and all of the dreamy foliage has me wanting to renew mine and my husband’s vows. 😍 I can totally see why Marie and Jonathan chose The Grand Hotel.
I thought it was super sweet that they did their session at the same location that they were engaged. What a fun memory to re-live every time you see your engagement pictures hanging on the wall!
Marie is absolutely breath-taking in every. single. photo. Like seriously, I am convinced she is a model. Her and Jonathan’s chemistry together is so endearing. I loved seeing them interact with each other because their love was so natural and easy to capture.
I feel like it’s also a non-negotiable to mention her solitaire diamond as well. I mean 😍 I am obsessed.
My favorite photos of the day were when we went out on the jetties by the bay. Who could ever tell it was late winter? It felt like a summer day which is one more reason I love being a wedding photographer in Mobile, Alabama. Clearly, I’m a fan of warm weather so I was so excited to finally feel that sun come out.
Go find you someone that makes you smile like this. Someone that makes you laugh when you want to be angry. Someone that brightens your life even on the drab days. Someone that will walk out onto huge rocks with you to get that perfect shot. Someone who will share their heart and life with you, and only you, forever. ❤️
