Another engagement session at the Grand Hotel in Fairhope, Alabama in the books! This is clearly one of my favorite places to shoot-I mean just look at these engagement photos of Lila and Austin. 😍
Lila is the happiest, most giddy bride and it was seriously the sweetest thing! She is a fellow photographer so it always speaks volumes when someone in my field asks me to take their photos.
One thing I loved about taking their pictures, was how excited they were to see some sneak peeks from the back of my camera! It makes me all that more thrilled for their wedding in October!
They will be getting married at The Grand Hotel this fall on the lagoon, which is the prettiest spot at the Grand in my opinion. Any brides that are getting married in the Fairhope, Alabama area, should take note! 👌🏼
I love being an engagement photographer as well as a wedding photographer because I feel like I am a small part of each and every love story. I mean, I get to be around the best people. Couples like Lila and Austin who drove all the way from Birmingham to Fairhope, Alabama. That seriously makes me so happy to know how much pictures are a priority. Lila even told me that her engagement/wedding photographer was one of the biggest priorities on her list, because pictures are so important to her.
Her ring is absolutely breath-taking. Lila always wanted a six-prong solitaire diamond just like her mom had. How sweet to be able to have the same ring as your mother. A bride’s engagement ring is one of the most precious possessions she can own, so I thought that detail was priceless.
My favorite thing about the Grand Hotel in Fairhope, Alabama is of course the mossy, oak trees. The moss is so romantic and elevates every single picture. My other favorite spot is the huge rocks out on the bay. I love when my couples walk out to get some water shots and these did not disappoint. 😍
The sun was setting, which made for some awesome silhouette pictures right at the end of this engagement shoot. I’m over the moon excited for Lila and Austin and I can’t wait for them to share their vows and commit their lives to each other in October.
