After having my first daughter, Ashlyn, my sweet husband gifted me a beautiful new DSLR, and my love for photography was born! Weddings have always been one of my favorite things to photograph, because the magic that lingers around two people in love is an experience I'm so happy to be part of.

Wedding cake. Just joking, but that's a bonus. Photography is so important. It's what preserves memories. It is all that you will have to look back on. It's what you will show your kids one day, and they will show their kids. It is so much more to us than just taking a pretty picture. It's about documenting a legacy.

I lean towards a journalistic style, which means that I don’t focus too much on a ‘checklist of essential shots’, rather I move around your wedding unobtrusively, documenting the day as it unfolds. When it comes to posing for portraits, I will direct you completely, but will do so in a way that I can capture genuine moments. I’ll always try to use natural light wherever possible.

We’re big fans of engagement sessions for a few reasons. Not only do they allow you to get comfortable in front of the camera, they also give you the opportunity to showcase your personalities in a more casual setting that is significant to the two of you. Weddings are my favorite thing to photograph!
They never get old. The excitement, the giddy expectation, the dress, the colors, the groom seeing his bride for the first time. I love every little bit of them and it’s fascinating to see the personal spins that each couple put on the tradition. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, someone goes ahead and wows you all over again.

Frequently Asked Questions
We typically book about 9-12 months out. That's not to say we don't have last- minute dates available, but we do tend to book out quickly. As soon as you nail down your date, send us a message to get your photography coverage secured.
How far out in advance do you book?
Yes, of course! We love to travel! In fact, we love to travel so much that we include travel up to 150 miles from Mobile, AL for no additional cost. If you are farther away than that, we will work up a custom travel quote.
Do you travel for weddings and engagements?

We require a 25% retainer to secure your date, and the rest is due 30 days before your wedding.
How much of a retainer do you require?
We work really hard to get your images back as quickly as possible! We will deliver a sneak peek with around 50 images within the first 2 weeks after your wedding. The rest of the photos will be delivered in full no later than 8-10 weeks from your wedding day. Usually much sooner.
