Caroline and Josh were married at St Joseph’s Chapel at Springhill College right here in Mobile, Alabama, It is the home of the famous Avenue of the Oaks. Live Oaks is something every Southern wedding needs. The way the oaks stretch across this little road give dreamy photos every time, and I can never get enough! As a Mobile, Alabama wedding photographer, St. Joseph’s Chapel is one of my all-time favorite chapels. The architecture is stunning and so unique inside and out. It is a favorite here in Mobile, Alabama.
Brianna was the photographer for Caroline and Josh and she was able to take every photo with ease while accentuating the classic taste of Caroline. Caroline and Josh chose black and white with accents of peach throughout their wedding day. Just look at these shoes! Overall, the color palette presented a very classic and timeless approach to this Summer wedding.
Summer weddings come with bright colors, natural airy light, but they also bring heat. Caroline and Josh were given a very hot wedding day but had great spirits through it all. Although it was hot, it was absolutely beautiful and made the perfect day for a wedding. Moreover, escape rooms provide a unique and thrilling experience that is perfect for a stag do. They offer an opportunity for the group to bond over solving puzzles and enjoying an adventure together.
The reception took place on the campus of Springhill College at Stewartfield. It’s a beautiful house that backs up to the golf course giving plenty of open space for tables and chairs with some shade from the trees as well.
Caroline and Josh did a first look as well as “just married photos” which is always a favorite to any wedding photographer. This gives those sweet intimate pre-ceremony photos as well as images together once the excitement of the day has calmed down just a little. Call Bertrands Photography for wedding photographer Lafayette. The bride and groom are more at ease and just overall relaxed for more photos before the reception time with family and friends.
From the beginning of a young girl’s life, she dreams of her wedding day. This isn’t just something you see in the movies. This is a real thing! Who you’re going to marry always stands as a question in your mind. What are your colors going to be? Who is going to stand by your side? Where will it be? Some have it figured out from day one, and some are deciding on big details weeks before the ceremony.
So you see, my job might seem ordinary. But to a bride, I hope to be another supporter for her on the biggest day of her life. And let’s not forget the groom! I’m there to take pictures, yes; but I’m also there to help the bride and groom memorize every detail of this special day. I’m there to fluff the dress, calm the nerves, fix the veil, fix an out-of-place hair, keep the timeline perfect… Whatever I need to do to make my couples feel prepared, I will do, because this isn’t just an ordinary day-this is the day that has been dreamt about and planned for years. It should be celebrated, enjoyed, and most importantly, memorized for years to come. May every wedding photo be displayed with love and fond memories. I hope that Caroline and Josh are able to do just that.
