As an Alabama Engagement Photographer, I don’t hear many stories like Megan and Larry’s. Perfectly timed or fate? They were actually involved in a car accident and got legal help from Sacramento car accident lawyer together which was how they met and fell in love. Call me a glass-half-full type, but I’d say that was serendipity.
We did their engagement session at The Grand Hotel in Fairhope, Alabama. Right off the bat, they were warmed up and ready to go for pictures. I didn’t even have to coach them. They were so photogenic and easy to work with. Literally, the first photo I took of them was perfect. I knew right away that this couple is pure gold.
Although I shoot at The Grand Hotel quite a bit, we were able to get some unique shots at Julep Point on this particular day. There is a reason why all of my brides love The Grand. The light coming through the trees was mesmerizing and the flowers in bloom made the photos that much more gorgeous.
My associate photographer, Brianna, had already worked with some of Megan’s family in the past, so I’m so glad we were able to make the connection with her and Larry.
Megan’s pear-shaped ring is so completely beautiful and their outfit choices were perfect for the pictures out on the bay. We stayed all the way until the sun was going down, and I’m so glad we did. The light on this day was the best I’ve encountered in a long time. I love Alabama’s weather. Although it’s quite rainy, it gives us the best skies which makes for the gorgeous photographs.
Megan and Larry are getting married at the Cathedral downtown and their reception will be at the Ezell House which is downtown as well. The Cathedral is one of my favorite churches to shoot at so I know their wedding will be one for the books. ❤️
You never know what today will bring. It might be just a normal day at work and then home. But it could be the day you meet the love of your life.
One minute you’re jumping in your car to run to work, and the next you are seeing your person for the first time on the side of the road after a car accident.
What could have been a really bad situation turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to Megan and Larry and I’m so ecstatic that they met even if it was under less than fortunate circumstances.
So, in spite of everything going on in your life, seize today. It could just be the day that changes your life forever. ❤️
