Emily + Richard

Emily and Richard were married just over a week ago now, and I’m so excited to share these images of their beautiful wedding. They were married at Heron Pointe, in Orange Beach, and it was the perfect setting for their special day.

MY FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT EMILY + RICHARD’S WEDDING

• I love their color palette! The blue and the pink go so well together. Their colors were a great choice for a fall wedding. I love that they chose non-traditional fall colors.
• I love how each of the bridesmaid’s dresses was a different style. They were the same color so they looked fantastic together, but each dress was suited for each individual bridesmaid.
• Heron Pointe is gorgeous! That large oak tree where the ceremony was held made the perfect ceremony location. I love oak trees. They represent the south and are so charming.
• The golden light portraits of Emily and Richard are definitely my favorite. When couples time their ceremony around the sunset, it gives me all the feels and makes all my photographer dreams come true.

Emily and Richard make one great couple, and we are so honored they chose us to photograph such a special day.

Emily’s most valuable piece of advice for couples:

“Don’t take yourself too seriously. The more selfless you are, the more you get in return. If you’re with the right person, and you start going out of your way to do kind and thoughtful things for them, they will notice, appreciate it and do the same things for you.”
