I have so many good things to say about Brittany and Brandon’s wedding. It was just the best day ever. Brittany and Brandon are some of the kindest people I have ever met, and it has been a true joy to work with them.
We did their first look at the Battlehouse. We were going to do it outside, but the wind was fierce, so we opted to do it inside. I love shooting at the Battlehouse because they have floor to ceiling windows that provide so much natural light. It is amazing and almost makes you feel like you are outside. They added some plants since the last time I shot there, and I loved it even more than I did the last time.
When Brandon saw Brittany for the first time, he tried to hold back the tears but he just couldn’t keep it in. It was the sweetest moment ever. I love photographing moments like that!
Brittany’s dress is one of my favorite dresses I have ever photographed, and it looked perfect on her. I loved the lace detailing, the color, and the movement that it had. I knew I would have to get a shot of her twirling it. It was a princess dress for sure!
Brittany and Brandon had their ceremony and reception at Mobile’s newest venue, Crown Hall. Sarah with Bay Gourmet just recently opened it, and I was so excited to get to shoot there. I am blown away by it. Sarah thought of everything when creating the perfect venue space. She even put a room on the second floor for the bride and groom to be able to sneak away and eat something, and it has windows where they can see everything going on downstairs.
The room where we had the ceremony had tons of windows. You know I love my natural light! The main room where the reception was has these amazing chandeliers that are just breathtaking! It is one of the larger if not the largest venue space we have in Mobile now. And it can comfortably host many many people. Mobile was definitely lacking a large venue space, and now we have it, and I am thrilled!
Bay Gourmet has always been my favorite caterer. Sarah can cook! I don’t know what she puts in her cheese grits, but they are the best thing I have ever eaten! I’m so excited for them and the launch of Crown Hall! I look forward to shooting many more weddings there!
