I’m still gushing over Kayla and Luke’s wedding. Every detail was exquisite! They got married at a private residence in Pensacola Beach, Florida. I’m a little sad that it isn’t an actual wedding venue because I would love to shoot there again sometime.

I honestly couldn’t imagine a prettier place to get married. It overlooked the water. Even the inside of the home was lovely. Natural light filled every room. It was a photographers dream. The ceremony was situated between the two infinity pools and was just breathtaking. 

What amazes me, even more, was that this wasn’t their original venue. Unfortunately, Kayla and Luke’s original venue fell through, and just weeks before the wedding found out that they had to secure another place to get married.

Thankfully, they hired a wonderful wedding planner, Mēgan, that was able to find this gorgeous home for them to be married at. No easy task to find a venue right in the middle of wedding season. And no easy task to change courses just weeks before the wedding. But Megan and her team pulled it off, and I don’t think it could have been any more beautiful if it were planned this way months in advance. 

We were anticipating rain for most of the day, but the rain cleared out just before the ceremony. I’m so thankful that, and thankful that the rain brought some cooler temperatures as well. The weather was just right!

Kayla and Luke are perfect for each other. I have loved getting to know them over the last several months, and documenting their wedding day was truly an honor.
