After my initial consultation with Alice and David, I knew I was going to love working with them. I can’t even put it into words, they are just so happy to be together, and are some of the most joyful people I have ever worked with. They have undeniable chemistry. Their families are just as sweet as Alice and David.
Something that meant the world to me was during the reception… Jaimie and I grabbed a quick bite to eat. (I’m a better photographer if I eat. ha!) I always just find a spot alone in the corner to eat. As soon as we sat down, Alice’s sister, Mary Lynn, asked us to come to sit with her and her family. It truly meant so much! I did not feel like a vendor, but a friend of the family, and that is how Alice and David and their entire families make everyone feel.
My absolute favorite moment of the day was Alice and David’s first look. It was so special, and they did something I have never see during a first look. After they shared the initial first look moment they read their vows to each other. This was such an emotional, and authentic moment. It set the stage for their whole day.
They also brought along their golden doodle, Millie, and was the cutest pup ever!
Alice and David said that the most important thing to them for their ceremony was to feel the Holy Spirit’s presence, and that was certainly felt throughout the ceremony. I loved that they sang a song of worship.
Alice and David, working with you both was an absolute honor. I’m sad your wedding is over because I want to photograph your love all over again. I’m so happy though for you as you begin your married life!
