Alison + Dave

I’m excited to share pictures from Alison and Dave’s wedding at Fishers in Orange Beach, Alabama. This was a destination wedding for Alison and Dave. Alison grew up coming to this area as a child and knew she wanted to get married there. She chose Fisher’s because of the great atmosphere, and the food is great! If you haven’t been, you need to. It’s my favorite restaurant in Orange Beach! It also is beautiful and has such a calming atmosphere.

When I asked Alison what her favorite part of the wedding planning process was, she said, “I’ve really embraced letting other family members take over various items so that has not only made it less stressful for me but provided a bonding opportunity with those family members as we look forward to the big day together.” I think this is valuable advice to any bride getting married. I know when getting married, it is easy to want to control everything. But being able to let go of some of the things and get some help will be much less stressful.

I love that Alison chose to hire a wedding planner. We have worked with Tonia Turner Events multiple times, and when planning a destination wedding, I feel like having a planner that knows the area / vendors is key. Tonia is amazing at her job. We always enjoy getting to work with her.
