Our 2015 Disney Vacation

Last week we had the opportunity to go to Disney World and to visit with our Grandma Lois. We had a wonderful time!! I feel like it was one of the best vacations we have been on with the girls. They were great, and they enjoyed every moment of it. It was the first vacation that I didn’t bring my camera with me. I decided to leave it at home, and just enjoy being together. I did take lots of photos with my phone though. You can look through a few of our photos below. =)

Day 1 – We went to Magic Kingdom all day. This park is probably Ashlyn’s favorite because that’s where the Cinderella’s castle is, as well as a lot of her favorite rides. We were hoping to meet Elsa (Ashlyn’s favorite princess) while we were there, but the line was 110 minutes. No thank you. We saw her in the parade and that was good enough for Ashlyn. Maybe next trip we can meet her.

Day 2 – We went to Animal Kingdom in the morning, and then went to Hollywood Studios in the afternoon. The safari ride at animal kingdom is always one of our favorite things. Caelyn really enjoyed seeing all of the animals, even though she thought they were all dogs. After hitting the main attractions at Animal Kingdom, we left and went over to Hollywood Studios. They have a new Frozen sing-a-long, and that was definitely the highlight of the day. It was a great show. I would highly recommend it if Frozen is your thing. Andrew also took Ashlyn on the Tower of Terror. She didn’t like it at all! She was most scared of the story that goes along with the ride, but I was proud of her for riding it. We finished the night with the Fantasmic show.

Day 3 – We decided not to go to another park, but instead just spend the day shopping around town and at Downtown Disney. The girls loved all of the character statutes, and they wanted a picture with each one of them.

Thanks so much for spending the week with us Grandma. We had such a great time. Can’t wait to see you again soon!
