Mobile, AL Engagement Photographer | Claris & Woodie
This engagement session was certainly no ordinary day. This session took place at Claris’s family property on Dog River in Mobile, Alabama. They could not have chosen a more stunning setting. The water, trees, and beautiful skies were the perfect backdrop for their engagement session. The day was packed full of love and laughter.
About their session
Woodie had a wonderful idea to take some photos on the floating dock. If you’re trying to find a floating dock builder in Oyster Bay NY, you may contact companies like EZ Dock of Long Island.
The problem was, the only way to access the dock was by paddleboard. Claris and Woodie decided to go together on one board, and that’s when it happened. Sure enough, after seconds of being on the board, there they went into the water!! I could see it coming but could do nothing to stop it. So how do you recover from that at a photo session? They totally went with the flow, and we used the situation to our advantage. I’m so happy that in the process we captured some truly amazing images.
Claris looked so pretty (in spite of being soaked head to toe), and the love these two have for each other really shines through in these photos. This was a memorable day for us all to be sure, and this sweet couple was so much fun to work with. I had a blast, and can’t wait to photograph their wedding in March. As a Mobile, Alabama engagement photographer, I could not be more honored that they chose me to capture their special day!
