You know that feeling you get when you just know something to be true? I shot Alex and Kyle’s wedding over nine months ago, and when I first shared their photos on my blog in the fall, I remarked this bride and groom literally walked out of a magazine. Imagine my surprise and delight when I realized they were chosen for the June 2017 DeSoto Magazine feature wedding. And not just featured – they were selected as the cover photo!
Alex and Kyle’s Gulf Coast Ceremony
I couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous day. The crisp water against the white sands of Destin served as the perfect backdrop for Alex and Kyle’s wedding day. It appeared as if her bridal party had been accented in turquoise perfectly for the occasion. It truly reflected the shades of the sea that day.
After the ceremony ended, we captured some gorgeous photographs of this newlywed couple. As if by magic, the sky and sea muted with the most perfect Gulf Coast sunset that evening. The soft color palette of peaches, pinks, lavenders, and willowy blue were also found in Alex’s rose bouquet. Seriously, a photographer’s dream!
When I look back over these photos from their ceremony, the warmth in Alex’s smile and the love between she and Kyle reflect the grace and charm of the South. I think DeSoto Magazine made a stunning choice in featuring this beautiful couple for their lifestyle magazine!
