The beach has become an iconic spot for fun, relaxed and carefree family photo sessions. Dauphin Island on Alabama’s beautiful Gulf Coast is the perfect backdrop for idyllic summer family portraits. This area has become a favorite vacation spot, and the Day Family took full advantage of this popular destination as part of the summer getaway with Brianna, my associate photographer.
We had to reschedule our original shoot day because of heavy rain. We only had one more day that the Day Family was going to be in town, so I’m so glad the rain clouds subsided, giving way to pale blue skies and billowy clouds following day. It turned out to be beautiful! Almost as beautiful as this sweet family!
Classically dressed in white, khaki, and denim; nothing could distract from these sun-kissed cuties and their freckles!
I love the way Brianna documented this family portrait. She captured such genuine smiles and interaction between the generations of extended family. Intimate kisses between couples, and the special bond between siblings – this is surely a vacation which will be a memory forever!

I love this session my associate photographer, Brianna captured. Working with the Days as their Dauphin Island, Alabama Family Photographer must have been such a treat!
