Sherri and Jordans Bragg Mitchell Mansion Wedding

Okay, where to begin with these two? Oh my, I’m so in love with these photos. Sherri and Jordan got married on Easter weekend at Bragg Mitchell Mansion in Mobile and I adore every detail of this wedding. Brianna was the main photographer, and Jaime came along to second shoot as well. They are both amazing at what they do!

The bridal party got ready at the Battlehouse in downtown Mobile which is always a winner in my opinion. It has plenty of room for the whole bridal party to get ready for the ceremony and of course, the esthetics are always so pleasing to the eye. Not to mention the bridesmaid’s color choice for their dresses. I LOVE them!

Jordan is a graphic designer so he actually created all of their invitations. I thought that was so special and loved that detail of the wedding. He did an outstanding job.

If you know me at all, you know I’m a fan of first looks. There’s something so intimate and sweet about that one-on-one time the bride and groom get together before the craziness of the day begins. It also gives me, as their wedding photographer, plenty of time to get photos of them alone, which is always my priority. Sherri and Jordan’s first looks at the Bragg Mitchell Mansion was such a special time shared by the two of them.

I also loved that Sherri had some one-on-one time with those closest to her and a first look with her bridesmaids. The bride and groom had so many people surrounding them with love and support and there’s nothing that makes me happier than that.

Wedding day at the Bragg Mitchell Mansion

Everything about this Bragg Mitchell Mansion wedding gives me garden party vibes and I’m totally here for it! They had furniture set out for guests to lounge in and, the tablescape was the perfect addition to their reception. It totally interpreted the bride’s desire for a Spring wedding. The chandelier and stringed lights helped give such a romantic setting. Nothing about this wedding was not overdone, and everything was so classy!

The arch at the ceremony site was prettier than anything I’ve ever seen. The florals were absolutely perfect and Sherri’s all-white bouquet had all the Spring vibes with its monochromatic, yet simplistic look.

Weddings like this make me want to re-do my ceremony! Not just because of the florals and wedding gown. Don’t get me wrong-her gown was perfection. But, because of the love shared between two people. It’s worth celebrating. Celebrate love and happiness. Celebrate just being together. Not everyone has a positive outlook on life and love, so when you find it, protect it at all costs. It’s more precious than any possession you can own.

Love creates joy that can last forever, but you must do your part. Take the good with the bad. Be prepared for hard times, and find laughter somewhere in each day, even when the work days are long and the positives are hard to find. And if all else fails, go back to your wedding photos and re-live that most special day. Celebrate you and your spouse, and know that you have so much to be grateful for.
