Bragg Mitchell Mansion Wedding in Mobile, Alabama

I’m excited to share some pictures from Bailey and Tyler’s wedding. Their wedding was my last wedding of 2019, and I couldn’t’ have asked for a better wedding to the end the year with. Bailey and Tyler are two of the sweetest people, and you can just tell by looking through these photos that they are smitten with each other.

I love Bailey’s style. The neutral color palette with the touch of gold was perfect for a winter wedding. Neutrals are my favorite, and I love the way that the color of the bridesmaids dresses photographed. It was an overcast day. The sun never came out once, but I didn’t mind because the sky was so soft, and fit the aesthetic of the day. Plus we managed to not get rained on, even though the forecast didn’t look promising. It started raining at the very end of the night right before the exit. It couldn’t have gone better, and I like to think it will bring a touch of good luck. So they say anyways.

If you have followed me for any amount of time, you probably already know that the Bragg Mitchell Mansion is one of my favorite venues. I never get tired of shooting there. The large white columns are so elegant, and the oak trees are the perfect backdrop for photos. I loved shooting at the mansion during the Christmas season too. Their Christmas tree is what Christmas dreams are made of.

Bailey and Tyler trusted me when it came to putting together their timeline, and when you look at this blog post you will see that we had so many variations / locations for their pictures. That only happened because we planned the timeline that way. You will never have just extra time on your wedding day, but the time will slip away so fast. If you want a lot of photos then you have to allow plenty of time to make it happen, and that is exactly what Bailey and Tyler did. Literally a dream! We never felt rushed, or like we didn’t have time to get all of the photos they wanted.

Bailey’s mom surprised them by hiring Melissa Munger to do a live painting of their cake cutting. You will need to check out Melissa’s work on Instagram to keep an eye out for her to post the final image. It’s gorgeous!!! Melissa is an amazing artist, and I would recommend her to anyone!

Bailey and Tyler, we can’t thank you enough for asking JTP to be a part of your wedding day. It was an honor, and we loved every minute of working with y’all!
