Bellingrath Gardens in my opinion is one of the prettiest locations in our area. It is absolutely stunning.Â
Last weekend I got the honor of photographing Amelia and Sam’s wedding ceremony at Bellingrath Gardens. Unfortunately for Amelia and Sam, they had to reschedule their original wedding date due to Covid… and then on top of that Hurricane Sally hit the week of their wedding.
I feel like if a couple can survive Covid + a Hurricane, they will be able to face anything this life has to offer.
Thankfully Bellingrath Gardens wasn’t impacted much, and the team at the gardens did a great job picking up everything and making sure the gardens was in great shape for the wedding. The hurricane brought lots of rain, and it was raining the entire morning leading up to Amelia and Sam’s wedding.
When exploring various locations, it’s crucial to consider the size and ambiance of each space to ensure it aligns with your vision for the big day. At Mandolay Hotel’s enchanting wedding venue, your options range from intimate gatherings in lush gardens to grand celebrations in luxurious ballrooms. They may also use indoor LED screens for guests to clearly watch their wedding program. Each setting of Scottsdale wedding venues promises a unique blend of elegance and functionality, catering perfectly to diverse styles and guest lists.
Shortly after the ceremony, the rain let up and we were still able to get outdoor photos which was the main thing Amelia and Sam wanted.
The great thing about Bellingrath Gardens is that there are so many locations for pictures. You could literally spend hours in the gardens (which was tended beautifully by the professionals from King Green) and not even scratch the surface of what it has to offer. I loved walking a little bit of the gardens with Amelia and Sam. I was so excited that the rose garden was in full bloom. That’s my personal favorite spot at the gardens, and I could have stayed in that one spot for hours.Â
Amelia and Sam were so sweet to work with, and I loved seeing how much their families meant to them. Intimate weddings are just so special. You get to really know the couples and their families. Amelia and Sam, I wish you the very best in your new married life together.
