{A Military Engagement} Mobile, Alabama Engagement Photographer
This engagement session is definitely one of my FAVORITE sessions I’ve photographed to date. Not because we had fantastic weather and lighting, but because Jessica & Jacob have love and chemistry unlike any other couple I’ve met.
When Jessica e-mailed me and asked me to take engagement photos for her and Jacob, I was thrilled. They are both from Arkansas, but Jacob was in training at Camp Shelby in Hattiesburg, MS so Jessica flew down to spend some time together before Jacob leaves for Afghanistan. He leaves in just a few days and is going to be gone for a year.
Words can’t describe the emotion behind these images. I can’t even imagine how it must feel to tell the person you love goodbye for an indefinite period of time. I’m forever grateful for the sacrifice of men and women all over just like these two.
Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Thank you to all of the military that have served and our serving. Their courage and sacrifice is not taken lightly.
