What a perfect wedding to share with you all during this first week of Spring! I’m not sure if it’s the amazing spring skies or the flowers blooming all around me, but there’s a definite feeling of love in the air! I loved everything about this sweet day I spent as Christina and Austin’s Point Clear Alabama Wedding Photographer.
Christina and Austin were so incredibly sweet and an absolute joy to work with. Two more beautiful souls would be hard to find! Everything that day, from the first excited hug hello, to the last tear filled wave goodbye was simply perfect. The colors and florals they chose, suited their style and venue perfectly. Christina and Austin opted for a first look, which I adore! It provide them the opportunity to take a quick moment and focus entirely on the love that would soon be bringing them together as one. (Plus… his face was priceless when he saw his stunning bride which is always a win in my book! <3)
They were married in a gorgeous church in Fairhope, Alabama. The exposed beams, and expansive windows not only made for the perfect atmosphere for these two love birds to start their lives together, but allowed me the opportunity to get some truly stunning natural light shots! Traditional church weddings are some of my favorites. There’s something so fundamental and beautiful about standing at the altar, and declaring before your friends, family and the Lord, the love you have for the sweet soul standing before you. What in this world could be more beautiful?
To Christina and Austin, thank you so much for allowing me the immense pleasure of capturing the deep love you two share. I wish you nothing but a life full of happiness, laughter and love! <3

Everyone meet Sadie and Bragan! What an absolutely adorable couple my associate photographer, Elizabeth, had the great pleasure of working with. Elizabeth captured this sweet engagement session on the Bluff in Fairhope, and I’m super excited to say she will be documenting their precious “i-do’s” on their wedding day in June! How lucky are we to be working with them for their engagement photographs and their wedding!?
A cloudy day welcomed this engagement session with open arms, LOVE those overcast days! It gives such a dreamy depth to the images. The Bluff in Fairhope, AL, aptly named by 1908 founders as a place which held “fair hope for success”, is so incredibly idyllic for romantic sessions like these. The refreshing bay-breeze tickles your neck as your’re shaded by the abundance of Spanish moss dangling from century old trees who sternly guard the bay’s shores. As you look out onto the horizon, where water meets sky in a blue embrace, you can’t help but be swept up in the beauty of the surroundings.
The thing that stands out the most about this day, however, is the love for Sadie flowing from Bragan’s eyes. Needless to say, this couple required no prompting from their photographer when it came to sweet looks of love!
To see the fun these two had together during this session makes Elizabeth so excited to meet them again on their wedding day. I can only imagine the love and laughter that will fill the air on that precious day <3
Happy Spring ya’ll! I’m so incredibly excited to share this post with you! Jennie Tewell Photography was recently featured in a local bridal magazine in our area, Premier Wedding Mobile Bay. This newer publication serves as a resourceful guide for the modern bride in the Mobile area, matching them with reputable vendors in our area. As a Mobile Alabama Wedding Photographer, I know how helpful a publication like this truly is! How exciting for all you blushing brides! I wish there was a tool as useful as this 8 years ago when my husband and I tied the knot! Boy, how time flies!
Of all the weddings I’ve attended and photographed over the years, Kendall and Marshall’s was one I’ll not soon forget. Everything that day was absolutely breathtaking. From the ceremony to the send off, every detail was perfectly designed. But, the part I’ll remember most is the two beautiful souls who were joined as one that day. Kendall and Marshall were born to love each other. Their kind spirits and gentle hearts compliment each other’s so perfectly and I was honored to not only witness but capture and document that love. Naturally, as soon as I was approached about this magazine feature, I knew exactly which images to pull from.
I was so excited to have my associate photographer, Elizabeth, featured in the same issue. She’s not only an amazing colleague, but a dear friend, so the opportunity for us both to be featured side by side made my heart so happy.
Make sure to scroll down to see all the sweetness from these three featured weddings!
I loved working with Basic Invite and photographing some of their gorgeous invitations. When I received these in the mail, I was blown away with the quality of them. The invites are printed on super thick quality paper, and they feel so luxurious! I loved the gold foil, but it is no surprise that I’m in love with all things gold. =)
One of the things I love most about Basic Invite is their website. It is so user friendly, and each of the invitations are customizable. They make it very simple to design the invitations you are wanting, and they have so much variety.
Not only do they offer wedding invitations, but they also have save the dates, thank you notes, announcements, programs, and so much more! I promise you will not be disappointed.
