Mary Margaret and Lee got married at St. Josephs Chapel in Mobile, Alabama. It was such a beautiful celebration of the love that they share. Lee went to Springhill College, and Mary Margaret grew up going to mass at St. Josephs Chapel, so it was only fitting that they had their wedding there.

Mary Margaret lived in New Orleans for a few years before getting married so it was important for them to incorporate some New Orleans flair into the day. They had a jazz band, and beignets to represent their love for New Orleans. I can’t think of a better way to incorporate New Orleans into their special day!

They had their reception at the Ezell House which I think is so cool to know that Mary Margaret’s grandmother’s cousins lived there at one time. How neat to know it holds so much history. I love that everything Mary Margaret and Lee chose for their wedding day has such meaning and purpose.

I say this often about the couples that I get to work with but I truly do get to work with so many amazing people. Mary Margaret and Lee were one of the sweetest couples I have worked with. Spending the day with them capturing their special memories was such a joy. Mary Margaret was so laid back the entire day, and truly never got stressed, flustered, or worked up over anything. They were both able to live in the moment, and enjoy every minute!

Mary Margaret’s advice to future couples is so fitting after getting to spend the whole day with her. I feel like this describes how she was on her wedding day perfectly.

“Don’t sweat the small stuff! All the nitty, gritty wedding details come together at the end and are NOT worth overthinking and stressing out over. Focus on your relationship and how special it is that all of your family and friends are traveling to see you and celebrate y’all!”
