This couple has such a fun story! Catie moved to Chattanooga to be close to her sister…Never knowing her move was also going to bring her into the arms of the love of her life! She met Todd and says it was “love at first sight.” They are going to be married later this year at Oak Hollow Farm, which is owned by her family. Her family started Oak Hollow Farm as an event venue to honor her late father. He always dreamt of creating a fun and meaningful event space at their family farm. It’s such a precious way to honor her father’s dreams by having her own wedding at their farm and event space, don’t you think? Elizabeth was so honored to be their Oak Hollow Farm Engagement Photographer in such a sentimental location.
About this Session
This property is so incredibly beautiful, so it’s hard to pick favorite spots! Catie and Todd’s favorite spot on the farm is where they will say their “I Do’s” in a few short months. This area is a tree tunnel and will be the perfectly intimate spot to begin their journey together as husband and wife. During this session, Eliazbeth captured images of Catie and Todd under a large, old oak tree. I loved hearing from Elizabeth of this tree’s interesting past, as it was sculpted by a lightning strike. What could have been a very bad situation, turned this tree into a unique work of art that has a seemingly architecturally-intentional shape. You can get a sense of how large and elegant this tree and area are on their family’s land truly is.
Elizabeth and I both cannot wait for their wedding coming up this Christmas season. She will get to see Catie and Todd take their first steps into forever together under the magnificent tunnel of trees at the Oak Hollow Farm.
It was such an honor being Catie and Todd’s Oak Hollow Farm Engagement Photographer. We can’t wait to see them exchange their vows on this sentimental piece of heaven.
