When I photographed Emily and Patrick’s engagement session last fall, I knew I would be in for an amazing wedding. The way these two would look at each other and just smile with such inner joy, I could tell the love between them was so strong. It just made me giddy to look at the bond they shared.
Emily and Patrick’s St. Joseph’s Chapel Ceremony
I thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with Emily and Patrick as they were joined in marriage. Emily has such stunningly elegant style, I knew her wedding would be just picture perfect! I loved the soft blue color palette of her bridal party and the trailing ribbons of the flowers they held during the ceremony. Everything she chose for her wedding was impeccable!
The wedding mass took place at St. Joseph’s Chapel, part of the Spring Hill College campus in Mobile. Emily shared her artistic side by hand-painting of the watercolor graphic of the chapel on her invitation. She is so incredibly talented! This is such a spectacular building within the Mobile community, and its simple beauty and exquisite details created the perfect backdrop for this union.
Their Battle House Hotel Reception
The reception was held at the Battle House Hotel, also in Mobile. This hotel is registered as one of the Historic Hotels in America, and has been restored to its former elegance with wide arches and ornate details.
I loved being able to ride the trolley with them after the exit! I was able to get some wonderful photos of just the two of them. This was such an intimate moment I was able to capture, and I was so honored to be a part of it. After all of the flowers, festivities, and celebration, it was a time for Emily and Patrick to just be to alone together and reflect on the love between them and the joy they shared with their friends and family today.
