Fairhope, Alabama is so picturesque. There is never a season when it’s not beautiful, but I love Fairhope in the Summer. The oak trees provide the perfect shade, and when on the bay there is a constant breeze. While, yes… it may get hot, it isn’t unbearable. It’s one of my favorite places to be.
I loved taking engagement photos for Hannah and Joe while they were in town. We did pictures at The Grand Hotel. The Grand is a special place for Hannah and Joe. It is where they had their first date so it was very fitting that we did their pictures there.
Typically I do my engagement sessions at sunset, but to make their session work for their schedule, we did a mid-morning session. It was so fun because the lighting was different than when I’m normally there, but it worked out so well, and I loved that I got to shoot in some different locations, and try some new things. Hannah and Joe were up for anything, and they were practically pros by the time that we were done with their session.
They are one of the sweetest couples, and I so enjoyed getting to work with them. It makes me even more excited for their wedding in just a few weeks! While we won’t be in Fairhope, Alabama for their wedding, we will be at some of my favorite venues in Mobile! I can hardly wait! Stay tuned to the blog!
