Rachel + Zach

Rachel and Zach’s wedding can be summed up as beautiful, radiant, and undeniably first-class. Rachel was absolutely gorgeous, her flowers were some of my favorites ever, her ring was stunning, and I truly loved getting to know the family. They were all so down to earth, and by the end of the day, I felt like I had known them for years!

Their first look took place at the Battle House Hotel courtyard that overlooks downtown Mobile, and it’s seriously the perfect, intimate place for a first look. I loved Zach’s reaction when he saw Rachel. You could tell he thought she was gorgeous, and his deep love for Rachel was clearly evident.

Rachel and Zach preferred to have all their pictures taken inside the Battle House, which is not my norm, but I really do love the way their images turned out. The huge ceilings and grand archways were perfect for their classic wedding style. Her veil toss photo turned out to be one of my all time favorites of a bride and groom!!

Their wedding reception was held at the Gulf Coast Exploreum in downtown Mobile. This was a first for me! I’ve taken my kids there, but I have never photographed a wedding there before. It was really neat how they turned the place into a wedding venue. There was an enormous amount of space to accommodate all the guests. Rachel and Zach had a very large crowd of people who came to celebrate with them, and what a true testament it was of how many people loved this sweet couple.

The large crowd, the sweet family connection, and the overall spirit of the day was a photographers dream. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Rachel and Zach, and I truly wish them many days of joy and happiness in their future together!!
