I have anticipated Brooke and Bennett’s wedding for the last year. I got very close to Brooke through the process of her planning her wedding, and it was such a joy to work with her and get to know her.
I had the privilege of doing Brooke and Bennett’s engagement session as well as Brooke’s bridal session. Stay tuned, I will be sharing some pictures from her bridal session soon! I have been dying to share them!
Brooke and Bennett have so much fun when they are together. They bring each other so much joy, and that is evident when you are with them.
One of my favorite moments from their wedding day was when Brook’s grandmothers saw her for the first time. I love that Brooke chose to do a first look with her grandmothers. This was a first for me, but it was so special, and emotional for everyone present.
We have had a rainy week leading up to the wedding, and I was nervous that we were going to have to go with our “rain plan” for pictures. The beginning of the week, the weather didn’t look promising for Saturday. On Saturday morning, I checked the weather again, and there was a 0% chance of rain. It was so nice that we didn’t have to worry about the rain.
We took pictures at Washington Square. It is one of my favorite spots in Mobile for pictures. It has so many gorgeous oaks and is just the perfect setting for pictures.
The ceremony was at Central Presbyterian church and the reception was at the Azalea Manor. Everything looked gorgeous, and being able to document such a special day was an honor.
