Claris + Woodie will always be remembered as my engaged couple who fell in the lake!!! Their engagement session will forever be one of my favorites, and I will never forget the laughter of that day!! They are such a fun couple, and their wedding day was just as fun as their engagement session!! Since they were married on St. Patrick’s Day, Woodie wore green socks and the groomsmen wore green suspenders and ties. So festive!! There were pops of green everywhere, and guests threw lucky charms for their send-off!!

I could really tell that family was very important to Claris. She had so many important sentimental touches to the day. She wore her grandmother’s wedding dress and her mother’s veil!! So sweet!!! We also recreated a photo that her parents had taken on their wedding day. The image had been taken at the Bragg Mitchell Mansion, and it was so neat to capture the same photo for Claris and Woodie that her parents had taken years ago!!

There were hints of rain in the weather forecast, but we ended up with a beautiful day! There were a few moments where it sprinkled a tiny bit, but nothing major, and we were able to get all the outdoor photos we wanted!! The azaleas are only in bloom for such a short time, and I was so excited that they were in full bloom for Claris and Woodie’s wedding day.

We thoroughly enjoyed photographing Claris and Woodie’s engagement session and now their wedding!! They made us laugh all day long, and it was so fun to shoot memories of this couple!!! Claris and Woodie, we wish you many more days of joy, love, and happiness!! Congrats you two!!
