Piedmont Park Engagement Photos – Ponce City Market – Atlanta Photographer – Lexie + Blake

This time last week I was in Atlanta getting ready to photograph Lexie and Blake’s engagement session. I was so excited to go to Atlanta because I love shooting at new places.

Also, I was so excited to meet Lexie and Blake. Because they live in Atlanta, we weren’t able to meet in person when they booked me. We had a phone call, but I was super excited to get to meet them in person. We hit it off, and we had so much fun exploring some places in Atlanta.

For the first part of the session, we were at Ponce City Market. Lexie and Blake hung out at Ponce City Market often when they first met, so it was important for them to have this as one of their locations. We had such great light here. Lexie and Blake brought along their dog, Lulu. I’m so glad they did. She is such a great dog, and we got so many great photos of her.

For the second half of the engagement session, we went to Piedmont Park. I LOVE Piedmont Park. I can’t believe how big it is. We only scratched the surface of what the park has to offer. I’m so jealous that Mobile doesn’t have a park like that. It’s absolutely gorgeous and well-kept. It also has the perfect view of the Atlanta skyline. I love the silhouette shot we got at the end with the skyline.

I’m so excited to work with Lexie and Blake again for their wedding in the Spring. It won’t be in Atlanta, but it will be in Fairhope where Lexie grew up.

This shoot was also special because my dear friend, Monica, tagged along as a second shooter. She was so kind and let me stay with her while I was in Atlanta, and she also came to the shoot and got so many great photos as well. Monica is an amazing photographer in the Atlanta area. I don’t have a second shooter at most engagement sessions so this was a real treat,
