There is something so special about being part of a wedding not only as a photographer but also as a friend. I have known Anjelica for many years. When she was a teenager, me and my husband Andrew were her youth leaders at church. It has been so fun watching her grow up into the gorgeous young lady she is now. And she made an absolutely stunning bride!

Capturing Angelica and Jordan’s Big Day

Anjelica and Jordan are absolutely perfect for one another, and I could not be happier for them as they begin their life in marriage.  

My sister in law, Brianna, who is my normal second photographer during weddings, was one of Anjelica’s beautiful bridesmaids, so I was solo for most of the day.  Brianna has an artistic eye, and couldn’t sit by not taking any photos of her close friend’s wedding.  She assisted me on photographing the details, and was such a huge help!

This perfect evening ended with a paper lantern releasing ceremony.  I love the symbolism of these in that the lanterns drifting up into the sky represent a beautiful new beginning – and I can’t think of a better way to top off a reception!  Not to mention they make gorgeous photos!!
