I LOVED hearing about this couple from my associate photographer, Elizabeth. Check out what she had to say about Taylar and Dennis’ Kirk House Engagement Session. “What an inspiration these two are! Taylar and Dennis were celebrating two milestones with their Kirk House engagement session. Their upcoming wedding and both of their graduations from college. Taylar and Dennis have been dating for several years. They made a pact that they would wait to get married after they both completed their degrees. Dennis in radiology and Taylar in nursing. What a hard working couple! Both Taylar and Dennis are also the first college graduates in their family, making what is already a momentous occasion even more special to them and their families. When they asked me if they could do a few cap and gown shots at the end of their session, I instantly said, “Of course!” Their commitment to their education is such an important part of their love story. So I definitely couldn’t pass up the opportunity to capture their hard work and dedication to their degrees in their session as well!

About this Session

Taylar and Dennis are getting married at The Kirk House in October and wanted to do their engagement session on the property. That way, we could explore the grounds. We were able to get ideas and inspiration for the wedding day while we took the photos. I absolutely LOVE the Kirk House gardens! There are so many pretty areas for portraits, and the weather on the day of their session was just as gorgeous as the love these two share for one another! The lighting was just as perfect, too! Taylar and Dennis were such a pleasure to photograph. They were such a cheerful couple and had such an easy-going nature. I am so in love with the venue they’ve chosen, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding day on the property!”
