Katie and Murphy got married on Saturday, and it was an absolute honor to be their wedding photographer.

When I arrived, Katie had all of her wedding details ready for me. She was so organized and so thoughtful with every single detail. I love that she even put so much thought into creating such a special gift for all of the wedding guests.

Katie completely trusted me when putting together her timeline. In the winter, we have to start things earlier to beat the sun from setting. She allowed ample time for everything, and we never felt rushed at all. Plus they didn’t run behind, so it was so nice to have so much time for bride and groom portraits. We did Katie and Murphy’s first look in the courtyard by the Cathedral downtown Mobile. It was the perfect little place of privacy all tucked away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. And can we talk about how beautiful it was? The light was AMAZING! It’s not often that we do first looks close to golden hour, so this was a real treat!

Katie had two dresses, and two pairs of shoes. Both were equally beautiful, and she looked amazing in both!

Katie was one of the most thoughtful brides. She sent me a text on Sunday after the wedding and told me how much she appreciated me. That meant the world to me that she would think of me the day after her wedding. That’s how sweet she is.
