There’s nothing quite like coming home. It’s where your favorite childhood memories are. Where your roots originate, and often times where familiar family and friends still reside. I love the feeling you get when you pass by your old family home. Or drive by that coffee shop you used to frequent with friends. Instantly, a feeling of nostalgia overwhelms you and transports you back in time.

Home Is Where the Heart Is

Alexandra and Rick live in Massachusetts now, but Alexandra grew up in Mobile. It was great to be able to meet them while they were down here doing some wedding planning and capture their love as an engagement photographer in Fairhope, AL. It’s nice being able to come back to your old stomping grounds with your partner and reminisce about the times that shaped you into who you are, and the person they love today. There’s something beautiful about sharing your past with your future, don’t you think?

Alexandra and Rick were both so sweet, and such a fun couple to photograph. Let me tell ya’, Rick was a great sport with all of the humidity! Especially since he isn’t used to the type of weather we have down here. But really, does anyone ever truly get used to it?…

I’m thrilled at the opportunity to photograph their upcoming wedding this May. It’s so exciting to think that Alexandra will soon add to all the wonderful memories she already holds dear in this town when she heads back this way to marry the love of her life.
