Bailey and Jonathan had their engagement session in Louisiana and thankfully my photographer friend, Alesia Cook recommended LSU Botanical Gardens as a location. Although I am based out of Mobile, Alabama, I love that my job gives me a reason to try out new locations from time to time. I met Bailey and Jonathan at the Botanical Gardens, and let me tell you it was HOT. Gotta love summers in the South!
Bailey and I have known each other forever as she attended our church as a teenager. She’s all grown up now, and I’m so happy that she has found the man of her dreams. Bailey and Jonathan will be getting married in October in Kansas City. I’m so sad that I won’t be able to be there, but thankfully she will be in good hands with Brianna as her lead photographer. Speaking of Brianna…she is settling in as an Arkansas resident, but still killing it being part of our team and expanding the business.
The most momentous part of this session has to be our interaction with a snake. Yep. Another perk of living in a hot and humid climate. Thankfully, it kept to itself as I am NOT a fan. All snakes should be dead as far as I’m concerned.
My favorite pictures of the day have to be from this stunning rose garden. I’m obsessed with roses so those images are definitely my favorite. Bailey’s ring has a vintage flair and I am here for it! I cannot wait for these two to be able to tie the knot and start their life together. Congrats, Bailey and Jonathan!
