The Grand Hotel – Point Clear, Alabama

Is there a more beautiful place than the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama!? I don’t believe so. It’s a little slice of heaven and my favorite place on earth. It’s our favorite place to getaway. It’s the type of place that you count down the days until you are able to go, and you are sad when you have to leave.

When Hilary + Adam mentioned doing their engagement session at The Grand Hotel, I was thrilled. I never get tired of taking pictures there. One of my favorite thing about my Grand Hotel sessions is that there is so much variety. You get photos of the lagoon, and beautiful big oaks, as well as pictures on the bay. If you are lucky enough, you will get a stunning sunset to finish out the session like we had for Hilary and Adam’s session.

A lot of people steer away from doing pictures in the Summer here in Alabama simply because of the heat, but I have to say the Summer golden light is totally worth the heat and humidity. I still can’t get over how gorgeous the light was for our session.

Hilary and Adam have amazing chemistry, and you can tell that they are meant for each other. That was evident to me just minutes into our session. They are naturals in front of the camera! I loved spending the evening getting to know them. I can’t wait to photograph them again on their wedding day next April!
