Getting to be a 30A photographer is the best! 30A has some of the prettiest beaches in the country in my opinion. I was so delighted to be able to work with Cassidy and Charles photographing their 30A wedding.
Cassidy and Charles got married on a Friday at Eden Gardens State Park. Can we make Friday weddings more of a thing!? I LOVE Friday weddings!! 😍
Eden Gardens State Park Ceremony
Eden Gardens State Park is an absolutely gorgeous place, and it makes for the perfect wedding venue. The large oak tree that they got married under, Cassidy had painted and included it as part of their invitation suite. I love how she brought that element in to her invitations.

It rained pretty much the entire time we had schedule for portraits. We were able to do their first look, and after that it rained, and rained, and rained some more. Rain brings good luck on wedding days though, right!?
I don’t know if I have ever worked with a more chill bride and groom. They were so relaxed, and didn’t let the rain dampen their spirits at all. They were excited to be getting married no matter the weather. We did a lot of the pictures on the porch at the main house at Eden Gardens. It was the perfect place for us to hang out while we waited for the rain to pass.
The rain lightened up minutes before the ceremony began. It still was a light drizzle, but Cassidy decided to keep the original plan and get married under the large oak, and I’m so glad she did. The rain began to stop, and the sun even decided to peek out a little. By the time the ceremony was done, the rain had stopped entirely.

Grayton Beach Photos
We then headed to Grayton Beach to take some photos on the beach, and we were so blessed to have such a gorgeous sunset. Cassidy and Charles rode down to the beach on the back of a bronco, and I got to follow behind them with the escorting police car. That was such a fun experience, and I love the photos we got of them on the bronco.
The photos that we got while we were at Grayton Beach are some of my favorites of the whole day. Cassidy and Charles are so photogenic, and were a blast to photograph!
Monet Monet 30A
Cassidy and Charles’ reception was held at Monet Monet in 30A. This was my first time going there, but I certainly hope it won’t be the last. What an incredible venue space! It is inspired by Monet’s home in France. It definitely has a French culture and every inch of the gardens is gorgeous!
The owners of Monet Monet are heavily involved in the wedding industry in 30A. They have a catering business (their food is amazing!), they do wedding flowers, wedding coordination, and I’m sure I’m missing some things too. 😂
I loved getting the opportunity work with them. They are definitely talented!
Working with a wedding planner is amazing!
As a 30 A photographer, it sure helps when you get to work with an amazing planner. Megan K Events orchestrated everything for the day. They did a fabulous job keeping everything organized and flowing smoothly. It always helps things run smooth when there is a wedding planner, but especially when you have to coordinate things around rain, it is a game changer.
Also, I’m still thankful for Megan when she ran to my rescue after I fell down the stairs and busted my knee up pretty good.🤦🏼♀️ I’ve been clumsy my whole life. Wedding planners can double as a nurse too. 😂
Cassidy and Charles, I’m sad the day is over. It was such a perfect day. It was a true honor to be able to work with the both of you! I hope you love looking through your photos, and I hope it brings you so much joy to be able to re-live this special day!
