I remember the day I sat down with Samantha to chat about her wedding as if it was yesterday. I was on my way out of town and we squeezed in meeting up for a cup of coffee at Starbucks just before I hit the road. It’s hard to believe that was a year ago!!!

When I first worked with Samantha and Robby for their engagement session, I could immediately tell that we were going to get some dreamy portraits on their wedding day because these two are just so at ease with one another. When their wedding day arrived, we got beautiful portraits before their ceremony after they shared their First Look and we squeezed in some bonus “Just Married” portraits right before their grand entrance to the reception. The light was so golden and perfect that even though we didn’t have a lot of time to spend on these bonus portraits, we ended up with some super dreamy portraits that turned out to be some of my favorites from the whole day.

So many special moments filled this day, from Samantha sharing a First Look with her dad, to Robby twirling his new bride in front of the church to get a view of her gorgeous dress, to the dove release that followed the ceremony and the grandest of grand sparkler exits, that it would be impossible to pick a favorite, but the one thing that stood out to me most was how loved Samantha and Robby are by their family and friends. The speeches at the reception were some of the sweetest I’ve ever heard and the tears were certainly flowing as everyone toasted the bride and groom.

A massive thank you to the fabulous team at Wed With Style, Vicki and Renee, who brought Samantha’s vision for her wedding to life and helped keep things running smoothly throughout the wedding day! We had a jam-packed schedule and these ladies helped me keep things on time and made sure we were set up for being able to get so many amazing moments documented throughout the day.
